Rajlanka Power Company Limited (RLPCL) is a subsidiary of Lakdhanavi Ltd (LAK) of Sri Lanka which is a subsidiary of LTL Holdings (Pvt) Ltd , a leading power sector engineering conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

RLPCL was incorporated in August, 2011 to set up a 52.2 MW Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) based power plant in Natore Sadar, Natore, Bangladesh to supply electricity for 15 years to the national grid under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). The Company commenced its commercial operations in 24th January 2014.

The 52.2 MW Power Plant of RLPCL is located in a four (04) land at Boro Vita, Natore Sadar, Natore Bangladesh.

The plant comprises of six (06) 20V32 reciprocating engines and a control system of Wartsila, Finland, a Generator from ABB Germany, Circuit Barkers from Scheider , Germany, Transformers from Gravels Ltd, India and LTL Transformers, Sri Lanka.

The state art power plant was constructed by Lakdhanavi Ltd , Sri Lanka under a Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract while meeting all international standards within the given implementation schedule of Ministry of Power, Energy, & Mineral Resources
(MPEMR) of Bangladesh. The operations & Maintenance (O&M) functions of the Power Plant also are carried out by the Lakdhanavi Ltd, Sri Lanka. The plant is managed by professional, and experienced engineering, technical and administrative staff in compliance with all environmental, social and regulatory laws of Bangladesh.
